The Young Artisan Marvelous Bees Daily Adventures

Details of the Workshop:

Al Jasra Handicrafts Center, as part of the “Young Artisan” program, is planning a “Beekeeping” workshop. In fact, bees are of cultural importance to society and are specifically mentioned in the Holy Qur’an Surat “Al-Nahl”.  Honey also has nutritional and medicinal properties that have been proven throughout history. During this workshop, children will learn a general overview of the importance of bees and how to organize their work tasks, in addition to how to extract honey.

 Workshop topics include:

• Explore and learn more about the role of bees in nature and the therapeutic properties of their honey.
• Discover how marvelously bees are made, blessed   with natural organs and metabolisms.
• Learn how to extract honey.

  Workshop outcomes:

 A comprehensive knowledge of honey producing mechanisms and familiarize yourself with basic information about bee products and how to extract them.

 Location:  House of Baskets- Beit Al Silal
