Details of the Workshop:

Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre is organising Making a Pot with Ceramic Paste Workshop.   Ceramic paste is a raw material used in the industry of ceramic, pottery, porcelain and plaster, this paste consists of a combination of clay, adhesive and water. The use of dry dough in the ceramic industry dates to ancient times, where it was used in the manufacture of household utensils, temples and art pieces.

Workshop topics include:

• Recognize the mud used
• How to keep it from drought
• Methods and types of use
• Recognize several different ways of making pot
• Practical application
