The workshop will showcase the traditional Cypriot Lefkaritiko embroidery. Handmade Lefkara lace is an embroidery, renowned for its intricate geometric patterns. Originating from the village of Lefkara in Cyprus in the 14th century, this lacework has been meticulously passed down through generations. The designs showcased in the workshop highlight the exceptional craftsmanship that led to its inclusion in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2009.
