Workshop Overview:

Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre is organising a Workshop titled Nails & Threads for Beginners. It is a simple and fun art form that everyone can make and customise to create a one-of-a-kind artwork to be displayed at home. String art is an inexpensive hobby to create eye-catching artworks. However, choosing the highest quality materials will work best to make the process more enjoyable.

• Introduction to Nails & Threads art and its history.
• Inspiring examples of artworks.
• Essential materials and tools (boards, nails, threads, auxiliary tools).
• Steps to create the artwork (design selection, transferring, nailing, threading).
• Advanced techniques (stretching, shading, color blending).
• Artistic tips and common mistakes.
• Personalising designs (names, symbols, gifts).
• Practical application (group or individual).
• Final evaluation, sharing, and participant motivation.
