Perfume & Makhmariya Making Workshop

Workshop Overview:

Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre organises a workshop on the basics of perfume and “Makhmariya” making, its compositions, and how to make a special perfume, by learning factual information regarding the art and design of Arabic and French perfumes, with theoretical and practical application.

 Workshop Topics:

• Types and classifications of perfumes.
• Perfume components & sources of raw materials.
• Aromatic notes.
• Types of perfume concentrations.
• Types of yeasts (Makhmariya).
• Practical applications in perfume making.

 Workshop Outcomes:

•  Trainees can make perfumes and Makhmariya of their own design.
