Mosaic Tray Workshop

Workshop Overview:

Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre is organising a Mosaic Tray Workshop.  In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to choose mosaic pieces from a wide and varied collection, then work on using them to create a complete work of art. Instructors with extensive experience in mosaic art will provide step-by-step guidance, starting with the design and composition stage, through cutting and arrangement techniques, to the application of glue and filling material.

The workshop is suitable for all levels, offering a rich hands-on experience and the opportunity to create a unique work of art that reflects each participant's style and vision.

• Introduction to types of glue
• Introduction to types of cutters
• Learn how to use cutters/nippers
• Learn how to cut different shapes
• Learn how to follow and cover pattern with mosaic tiles
• Learn how to mix grout and fill the gaps

Make a  beautiful tray decorated by mosaic tiles
