As part of the preparations for the 52nd edition of the Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities is hosting two info sessions presented by curator Bader Al Saad, addressing best practices for applying to participate in the exhibition. The sessions will focus on how to prepare an application form that reflects the artist’s identity and practice, highlighting the importance of artist bios and statements for each body of work, and enhancing the chances of acceptance and participation.
Bader Al Saad is a multidisciplinary curator and creative consultant with over a decade of experience enriching Bahrain’s cultural scene. His work spans exhibition curation, cultural projects, and creative consultancy, with a focus on building bridges between artists, audiences, and institutions. Bader Al Saad will serve as curator of the curated gallery, a highlighted segment of the 52nd edition of the Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition.
