The concept of this 12-hour nighttime artistic event, which is held annually from December 15 to December 16 from from 7 pm to 7 am, celebrates the anniversary of the establishment of the Bahrain National Museum. The event aims to re-discover and tour the museums in Bahrain, and organize a wide range of cultural and artistic events for the duration of the event. These events a mix of local and international shows held around the museum and its surrounding area. Shows are also held in and around the city of Manama itself, the city which never sleeps, particularly on this night.

Book Launch Visions: Ghazi Al-Gosaibi 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM Bahrain National Museum - Lecture Hall |
As part of the Ministry of Culture’s ongoing series celebrating intellectuals and thinkers from around the world, the 6th volume of the Visions book series will be launched. The volume was written by a number of leading intellectuals and academics, and focuses on the legacy of the late poet, author, and intellectual Dr. Ghazi Al-Gosaibi. |
100 Years of Automobiles in Bahrain with participation of the 13th Note Band 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM Bab Al-Bahrain |
Antique automobiles return once more to Bab Al-Bahrain to commemorate 100 years of the first automobile touching ground in Bahrain, and harkening back to a bygone era when people used to park nearby and walk around the area. The highlights of this public display include two classic cars graciously lent by businessman Mr. Akram Miknas for this occasion. A camera crew will be on hand to enable patrons of the area to pose next to the cars and take their commemorative pictures home with them. The 13th note band will also be on hand to put on an exciting musical show. |

The Turkish Embassy in Bahrain will put on a special outdoors concert featuring a five-member Ankara Wind Instruments Quintet which will play international musical compositions and traditional Turkish music. |

As part of its efforts to promote traditional local cafes and restaurants and the authentic Bahraini identity and spirit, the Ministry of Culture will treat participants and guests to a traditional meal especially prepared at Zafraan Café in Bab Al-Bahrain. |
Screening of short films about the sea produced by the Ministry of Culture for the Bahrain film Days 2:30 AM – 3:30 AM Conference room - Bahrain National Museum |
In appreciation of the winners and honorees during the Bahrain Cinema Days Festival, which was themed around the sea, a special screening of the short films that were financed and supported by the Ministry of Culture will take place. The event is in line with the Ministry’s efforts to support the artistic and cinematic movement in Bahrain and encouraging local aspiring filmmaking talents. |
