The Art Center launches its evenings of Artist Talks twice a month and will begin with Balqees Fakhro, considered one of the leading pioneers of the Bahraini art scene. She will be discussing the emergence of Bahraini artists in the 50s, followed by the start of her own art practice in the 70s and finally the importance of the Annual Fine Art exhibition as a platform to showcase Bahraini talent.
