Under the Patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the 23rd Bahrain Annual Heritage Festival has become an internationally recognized celebration bringing the nation’s unique culture and heritage to the forefront of our programs, helping to preserve our customs for future generations.
Located by the historic Arad Fort, the heritage village will serve as a platform to showcase the variety and diversity of Bahrain’s heritage offering locals, residents, and visitors a chance to experience the island’s rich history, music, food, and close contact with the artisans whose contributions continue to shape Bahrain’s national identity and preserve traditions for future generations.
Through the theme of “Our Year of Heritage”, culture serves as our inspiration to showcase 12 components of: Our Antiquities, Our Architecture, Our Pearls, Our Music, Our Dance, Our Crafts, Our Fruits, Our Costumes, Our Jewelry, Our Swards, Our Horses and Our Games.
