Her Excellency Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, and Thinkers & Doers are very proud to announce the international conference « Investing in Culture: Social & Business Impacts » to be held on January 19th in Manama.

 

This exclusive event will provide a platform for groundbreaking dialogue around the importance of investing in culture.

Home to a vibrant artistic scene and the most ambitious cultural projects, Bahrain is the ideal place to orga­nize a first-class international conference on investment in culture. The event will take place in the Bahrain Na­tional Theater, the National Museum and the Arab Regional Center for World Heritage, which all embody won­derful achievements to the country’s longstanding efforts to dynamize culture in the region. These exceptional venues therefore will host a unique gathering 300 of the most inspiring and promising culture investors, officials and makers.

 

Roundtables & debates, workshops and cultural startup pitches will enable to discuss culture as an investment opportunity, as well as to reflect on the selection criteria for cultural investments in a growing offer and to consider the perspectives and impacts of such actions for the future. Side events and an exceptional concert under the direction of Missa Johnouchi will complement the day. This International Conference in the Kingdom of Bahrain will be a source of inspiration and dialog, to understand all the new trends and phenomena drilling culture as well as related investments and opportunities.
