Dr. Ebrahim Mattar is an associate professor within the area of cybernetics at the College of Engineering, University of Bahrain. He was awarded the Ph.D. in the area of cybernetics from the University of Reading in UK. He has interest on storing old and historical Bahraini old and historical photos and then using some modern tools, and technological techniques to filter, classify, store them within a large database that contains up to 13,000 old photo. This talk will be presenting the history of cultural clubs in Bahrain. This is documented from the early 1900. Using some old and filtered pictures and photography.
