A Sudanese film directed by Kuwaiti director Khalid Siddiq, based on a novel of the same name by Tayeb Saleh (1969). This film is a joint Kuwaiti-Sudanese production. The film presents the Sudanese reality through the story of Al-Zein, he is a strange eccentric but loved by everyone in spite of his frightening appearance, living a simple life full of laughter, humor and madness. Al-Zein falls in love with Nama, which is beyond the expectations of the villagers. Starring: Ali Mahdi and Tehiya Zarouq.
