Historically, Bahrain has been famous for the craft of basket making because of the abundance of palm trees. Baskets were used in the past to preserve food and goods. The craft is still a Bahrain tradition in few villages. Join us in this workshop to learn about the making of Bahraini baskets and the materials used.
