The Dar Al-Riffa Al-Oda will host a series of musical concerts that highlight the rich tapestry of Bahraini folk music. The newly inaugurated Dar Al-Riffa Al-Oda comprises of the conservation and rehabilitation of the existing original Dar in the old neighbourhood of East Riffa along with a contemporary extension that can accommodate larger performances and residency spaces, with the ultimate aim of enhancing Riffa’s intangible heritage and the folk singing specific to that area.
