Dr. Sabiha Al Khemir has had an unusual journey with Islamic art, across time and place. She will speak about her various exhibition projects and the nature of sharing Islamic art in Western contexts. Dr. Al Khemir is a renowned expert in Islamic art, a novelist, and artist whose work is concerned with cultural bridging and spurring international dialogue. She is the Senior Advisor for Islamic Art at the Dallas Museum of Art and professor of Islamic art at the O’Donnell Institute, University of Texas.

Lecture will be conducted in English.
