Discover the results of the archaeological excavations of the Japanese team at Wadi Al-Sail mounds.
Wadi as-Sail is the only mound cemetery that solely comprises big number of Early Type burial mounds. A number of 548 tumuli are scattered over a wide area which is interspersed with several valleys that illustrate the original landscape. The Early Type mounds are typically flat and occur in low density.
