The Japanese Archaeological Mission led by Dr. Takeshi Gotoh has been active in the excavations at Wadi al-Sail, an Early Bronze Age or Early Dilmun period graveyard in Bahrain, since 2015. This lecture aims at presenting the results of this five-seasons’ project in order to give a scientific explanation of the characteristics of Early Dilmun’s society.
