The Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in cooperation with Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, will hold the Japan Film Festival 2019, supported by the Japan Foundation.
IT company CEO Nakahara feels unsettled after he gets a call from a close friend who he had a falling out with three years ago, and heads for his friend's home in Shinminato. However, he discovers that his friend has passed away. Nakahara learns that his friend had been working hard for the Shinminato Hikiyama Festival, which was transferred to another town because of financial difficulties, and fights to bring the festival back.
