A concert by Hathor Plectrum Quartet and the tenor Aldo Gallone in which they present a diverse and evocative repertoire of musical works ranging from classic to pop highlighted by two of the fundamental components commonly associated with typical Italian sounds - the mandolin and the tenor voice.
The Hathor Plectrum Quartet is the only quartet of its kind in the South of Italy. Established in 2010, the ensemble performs the rich original repertoire of plectrum instruments, from baroque sonatas to 19th-century Italian and German compositions up to modern and contemporary music. The quartet consists of Antonio Schiavone (mandolin), Roberto Bascià (mandolin), Fulvio D'Abramo (mandòla) and Vito Mannarini (guitar).
