Najla Al Khalifa is an artist who uses Virtual Reality as a medium by incorporating her art and expression since 2017. Graduated with a Bachelor’s of Art in Art History from the American University of Paris, Najla has explored an entire realm of art that is both immersive and a constant learning experience. Spectators are able to “walk into” her paintings, that mostly focus on architecture, abstract art, history, archaeology and the human condition. Najla aspires to continue exploring different possibilities with her Virtual Reality art as well as continue her dreams of becoming a lecturer and author. During her talk, Najla will demonstrate her program along with a local Virtual Reality hub, which will be set up with headsets for the audience members to personally try demonstrations of the art program.
