The Bahrain National Theatre and the Bahrain National Museum are set to host the opening of the 46th edition of the Bahrain Fine Arts Exhibition under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain. The event comes as part of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) year-long celebration of Kingdom of Bahrain›s historical and civilisational achievements under the theme of «Dilmun: Land of Density.»
A firm believer that the endurance and flourishing of the arts in human society serves as a measuring stick for the civilization and advancement of nations, BACA seeks to inject new life into artistic thought and drive human aspirations and creative abilities to new heights; factors which ultimately shape the tools of global understanding and entrench the values of openness, convergence and innovation.
This year, we hope that the density of the artistic cultural movement happening throughout the year, coupled with the density of the artworks on display at the exhibition, contribute to the development of the Bahraini cultural scene, all as part of our unwavering faith in the ability of Bahraini artists to compete and develop.
