In cooperation with the Bahrain Road Runners (BRR) and on the occasion of International Day for Sites and Monuments (World Heritage Day), Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities organises an 8km walkathon to a number of archaeological sites north of Bahrain.
The starting point will be at Qal’at Al-Bahrain site, passing through the farms surrounding the site, Hilla Islamic site, Al Hajer Burial Mounds, Shakhoura Burial Mounds and the site of the Barbar Temple.
Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquity will be providing Transportation from the of Barbar Temple to Qal’at Al-Bahrain site museum while providing light meals during the event.
