This documentary feature by Andrea Luka Zimmerman is a portrait of Bo Gritz, officially Lieutenant-Colonel James Gordon. The American solider, nicknamed Bo Gritz, is one of the most celebrated combatants in American history and was Commander-in-Chief during the Vietnam War. Gritz inspired many popular figures such as Rambo, Colonel John “Hannibal” Smith, and Colonel Curtis.
The screening is presented by The Wapping Project, London, in partnership with the Bahrain National Museum, and is generously supported by the British Council, DCMS and GREAT through the UK-Gulf exhibition programme.
