The theater hosted the Iraqi artist, Hussain Al-Adhamy, in October of 2018, as the inauguration of the Bahrain International Music Festival in its twenty-seventh edition. During the ceremony, artist Hussain Al-Adhamy performs a number of songs that reflect his artistic experience throughout his 45 years, as he sings the Banjaka Maqam, the Maqam Al-Dust, the Al-Hawizawi Maqam, the Nahudand Maqam, and the Maqam Al-Jamal with different variations, accompanied by a band performing original Iraqi music on instruments such as al-jouza, al-santur, oud, violin, nay, qanun, rag, al-mizhar and others.

It is noteworthy that the artist Hussain Al-Adhamy was born in Baghdad in the Al-Adhamiya region, which is an important center for the Iraqi Maqam heritage. Contributing to the strengthening of the artist's position as well is his belonging to a family with a long tradition in this ancient heritage. Artist Hussain Al-Adhamy sang in more than seventy countries and won numerous honors, prizes and certificates from festivals and artistic conferences throughout his experience. He holds a higher diploma in the art of music and singing from the Iraqi Institute for Music Studies, and bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in Eastern and Western musical sciences from the University of Baghdad and the Arab University of North America. He also received an honorary doctorate from the Association of Arab Translators and Linguists in 2009.
