The Bahrain Authority for culture invites you to the first solo exhibition for Palestinian Artist Areen Hassan in Bahrain entitled  “BY AREEN” at the Art Center opening on September 8^th 2021.  Dubai based and Member of Tashkeel, Areen, engages with Islamic art as a living art that endlessly sculpts daily life. Aiming to go beyond the visual perception of Islamic art to investigate a language through which to represent it. Drawing on the embroidery is a tradition from the Levant region, modernizing and enhancing the methods by playing with technologies and multimedia.

 Her most recent exhibits include International Tapestry Triennial exhibition in the Central Museum of Textiles, Lodz, Poland in October 2019-2020 and ‘World Art Dubai’ exhibition in Dubai, UAE in April 2021.
