The beginning of Bahrain-India diplomatic relations is linked to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s half century of independence; it is wise leadership reflecting the openness of this land to different civilizations, peoples and cultures through a foreign policy promoting the gains of the Kingdom to the entire world. It is fitting that India is the first country to forge diplomatic relations as it was preceded by centuries of humanitarian, social and economic connections. The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities celebrates this Golden Jubilee of Bahrain-India diplomacy through various programs.
