The sea not only provides us with intrinsic beauty but also 50% of our breathable air as well as regulating our ecosystem. All over the world, coastal communities depend on the seas for food sources and ecotourism to support their local economy. In recent years, there has been a growing movement to defend marine ecosystems and raise public awareness of threats such as plastic pollution, noise pollution, offshore oil drilling, and ship strikes.
This annual art competition focuses on important issues within the Kingdom, with this edition raising awareness on saving marine life, its conservation and keeping our sea clean.
