This Egyptian film is a story by Naguib Mahfouz, starring Hind Rostom, Abdel Salam Al Nabulsi, Abdel Moneim Ibrahim, and Mahmoud El Meligy. The film revolves around the breakdown of an electric elevator in a Cairo neighborhood building with its passengers, metaphorically, between heaven and earth. The passengers feel miserable in life and when they seem to realize that a glimpse of hope for their exit alive from the elevator sparks in them and helps them see life in a positive way.
