Hussain Mohammed AlYusuf along with his brother currently manage and run Al Yusuf Stores, with a deep rooted history in the craftsmanship of tailoring Abayas and Bshoot as part of Manama Souq. The craftsmanship has been passed down for 3 generations starting 1939. In this moderated discussion, Hussain Al Yusuf will address the family’s history in the crafts, the changes of people’s behavior in clothing, the diversity that flourished Manama’s Souq and changing factors to how we see the Souq today.
