The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Kingdom of Bahrain, presents a film entitled "Mohenjo-Daro". The film takes place in the year 2016 BC, where a farmer named Samran travels across the river to the city of Mohenjo-Daro, where he encounters a beautiful girl named Shani who works in the service of a goddess. The river around which their culture is centered and the events continue as Samran saves Shani from imminent danger, and then continues his attempts to win Shani's heart. The film is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, with dialogue by Preity Mamgin and story and screenplay by Ashutosh Gowariker.
