The Bahrain National Museum will host a lecture entitled “Sailing Oyster Hyrat: Recalling Events and Scenes from Bahrain's History” presented by Professor Ibrahim Abdullah Matar from the University of Bahrain. Indeed, the lecture features a historical overview of pearl diving in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the economic and social practices associated with it. The lecture also sheds light on the diving seasons with all its societal dimensions using a visual presentation documenting the different stages of that era.
