Dar Al Riffa Al Ouda is considered one of the oldest in Riffa, founded in the 1950s. In its early days, it started as a gathering place, where the residents of the area would come together for socialising and entertainment. Later, during the reign of the late Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, a decision was issued to establish a community center to bring the people of the region together. Dar Al Riffa Al Ouda became renowned for its performance of various traditional arts, with the most famous being the art of Dag Al Hab and Ardhah.
