As part of the constant cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and the private sector and showing strong support for " Investing in Culture" projects, H.E. Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Minister of Culture, received in her office Mr. Abdul Rahman Jawahery, GPIC General Manager as well as the delegation accompanying him. The two sides discussed during the meeting ways to enhance the programmes scheduled to celebrate Manama as the Capital of Arab Culture and how to explore new cooperation opportunities between the private and public sectors.
H.E hailed key role played by the private companies, which believe in the importance of culture in society and its presence in our lives in Bahrain, in the Arab world and internationally. The private sector has always been ardent defender of Enlightenment values, the Minister argued.
