Barney Returns!
Bahrain welcomed back beloved children icon Barney the Dinosaur in his latest adventure Barney Let’s Go! Live on Stage! in front of crowds of kids and parents at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center (BIECC). The musical, which will run twice a day at 10 am and 6 pm) from Sept 2 – 6, is one of the highlights of the 2013 Bahrain Summer Festival’s dazzling line up of shows.
After breaking some of their favorite toys, Barney and his friends - BJ, Riff, and Baby Bop - visit a magical toy factory housing the Imagination Machine – an odd device that can fix anything by using the power of children’s imagination. In addition to the many fun dance and song numbers that had the kids dancing along, the musical also attempts to teach them that when it comes to fun, nothing beats imagination and the friends you love.
Tickets for all 2013 Bahrain Summer Festival shows are sold exclusively at Virgin Megastores, with the option of picking up tickets the venue if the show has not yet sold out.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture from August 18 – September 9 under the slogan “A Journey of Joy”, the popular annual festival takes place this year during the leisure tourism season of the ministry’s Manama Capital of Arab Tourism 2013 program.
