Power and Grace
“Face it!”, the adrenaline-packed show by German group Sanostra is debuting at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center (BIECC) tonight (Thursday, August 29) as part of the 2013 Bahrain Summer Festival.
The unique audio-visual extravaganza blends high-flying antics with ultra-sophisticated 3-D video mapping projection technology to create a surreal environment that shifts and changes right before the audience’s eyes. The show features a wide range of incredible high-wire acts, such as vertical and swinging poles, balancing acts, gym wheels, bike stunt artists, flying drummers, light dancers, tumblers, gymnasts, and much more.
A repeat show will be held the following day (Friday, August 30). Tickets for both shows are available at Virgin Megastore in Bahrain City Center, with the option of getting tickets before each show at the venue itself, space permitting.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture from August 18 – September 9 under the slogan “A Journey of Joy”, the popular annual festival takes place this year during the leisure tourism season of the ministry’s Manama Capital of Arab Tourism 2013 program, and features a dazzling lineup of cultural, artistic, and musical shows.
