Tourism Assistant Undersecretary receives MP Hassan Bu Khammas
Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Tourism, Shaikh Khalid bin Hammoud Al Khalifa, today received MP Hassan Bu Khammas, of the House of Representatives, and briefed him on the Ministry of Culture's tourism plan that aims to develop tourist services and facilities to attract investment, in addition to support local and international exhibitions.
The meeting discussed the development of tourism services through the rehabilitating and training the staff of tourism and hotel sectors, establishing licenses standards for hotels and tourist restaurants, overcoming all obstacles and facilitating the procedures pertaining to investors.
MP Hassan Bu Khammas praised the efforts of the Ministry of Culture exerted in developing the tourism sector for the benefit of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
This meeting comes two days after the reception of the Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Tourism a delegation of the House of Representatives, included MP Abdulhalim Murad, MP Abdulrahman Bu Majeed and MP Ahmed Qurrata.
