Minister of Culture Receives Outgoing Qatari Ambassador

H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Culture, received outgoing Qatari Ambassador to Bahrain and Dean of the diplomatic corps Shaikh Abdullah bin Thamer Al Thani, on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic tenure in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Culture Minister hailed the cultural cooperation relations between the two countries that have contributed to achieving development at the culture and arts levels through the humanitarian investment. H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammad Al-Khalifa, Minister of Culture lauded the ambassador's distinguished efforts in boosting bilateral cultural relations, hailing their progress at all levels and underscoring Bahrain's keenness to further cement ties between the two brotherly countries.

The Qatari Ambassador stressed the cultural and intellectual investments have established a rich infrastructure in the Kingdom of Bahrain that has formed an exceptional model in the movement of the cultural and intellectual development. Qatar’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain highlighted the crucial role of investment in culture infrastructure, given its positive impact on developing an exceptional intellectual and cultural awareness. H.E argued that Bahrain is a model to be followed in the Gulf region in this regard.
