H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Minister of Culture, received the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) delegation and discussed cooperation and exchanging expertise on 10th November 2014. The team is a member of the Preparation for Top Management Program – Kawader- which aims at developing leadership skills. The Institute aims to contribute to qualifying and training the Ministry of Culture’s highly ranked staff and employees as part of exchange of expertise.
During the meeting, the Minister of Culture highlighted the cultural activities which are lined up as part of festivities marking "Manama Capital of Asian Tourism-2014" and the "Year of Art-2014". The BIPA delegation hailed the efforts of the Ministry in promoting Bahrain's image as a tourism and cultural destination. The delegation reiterated BIPA’s commitment to enhance coordination and cooperation between all parties concerned in order to devise an action plan to hold diverse functions and projects year round so as to boost the Kingdom’s economy through tourism. “There is no doubt the Ministry of Culture could cooperate with BIPA, which excels in human resources and learning perspectives,” H.E said.
The outcomes of the programme will be to produce leaders for the future who work to raise the competitive capability of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the overall benefit of the Bahraini society.
Members of BIPA’s delegation visit to the Ministry of Culture aims at exploring and discussing the best administrative practices and policies applied by the Ministry and exchange different views and visions with its officials.
