The Art Center Hosts Wildlife in Bahrain Exhibition
Coinciding with Environment Month, the Supreme Council for the Environment, in collaboration with the Art Centre of Bahrain and Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities, is pleased to launch the ‘Wildlife in Bahrain Exhibition’ on 15 March 2015 at 7:00 pm.
The exhibition will last until 19 March 2016 and will be open to the public form 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. It will include images taken by 25 photographers who are interested in nature, wildlife and the variety of birds in Bahrain. The Art Center will host this exhibition as part of a private and public contribution to environmental issues and will organize a number of workshops, lectures and events aimed at raising awareness about environmental importance in Bahrain.
The Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) held a press conference on 9 March 2016 to launch Environment Month and was themed ‘Let's Work for a Sustainable Environment’. It was held under the patronage of SCE President H.E Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and deputized SCE's Chief Executive Dr. Mohammed bin Daina for the opening ceremony.
