Bahrain National Museum’s cultural agenda continues to present the most challenging culture world initiatives, this time, a lecture, on 6 November 2018 at 6:000pm, on the urban cultural restoration of the historical city of Manama, by the famous Italian architect, Roberto Nardi. Free admission
In this the lecture, Roberto Nardi, from the Centro di Conservazione Archeologica in Italy will present a public talk about historic cities conservation through establishing cultural paths that enhance the relation between people and place. The lecture will focus on examples of cultural heritage properties between Muharraq and historic Manama, including Al Fadhel Mosque, Nassif House and Hijazi House, showing best practices in renovation and rehabilitation, and a creative way to sustain the local architectural identity.
