BACA’s Concert Organized, in Cooperation With the Italian Embassy, The Cultural Hall ‘s Nino Rota Ensemble Music Concert
The Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, organized the “Nino Rota Ensemble”, on 18 November 2018 at 8:00 pm at the Cultural Hall. Many lovers of Italian creative art and music attended the concert.
Before the start of the music concert, The Italian Ambassador to Bahrain, H.E Mr. Domenico Bellato, thanked Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities for its strenuous efforts to enhance and develop cultural events in Bahrain, praising the constructive and constant cooperation between the embassy and BACA. H.E also affirmed the importance of building bridges of cultural interaction between the two countries, wishing for more future common events to come.
During the evening of beautiful music, the ensemble performed the most celebrated compositions of the greatest Italian and foreign Maestros such as Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, Nicola Piovani, Alan Silvestri, Henry Mancini, Franco Micalizzi and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The musical performance was a captivating journey through visual projections of movie scenes brought to life by memorable music from original soundtracks.
Worth to mention that “Nino Rota Ensemble”, founded in 1995, is an all-women quartet comprising voice, flute, violin and piano in an extraordinary repertoire
