“ 5 p.m. AT Bab” Initiative Events
Manama Bab al Bahrain will host “ 5.00 P.M At Bab” activities and events aimed at attracting all residents and Bahrainis to enjoy their week-ends. On 18 Octber 2018 at 5:00pm a children’s workshop “Burial Mounds”. Free admission. Participants who would like to take part in this workshop are invited to register online via BACA’s official web site: www.culture.gov.bh
This workshop will explain the Dilmun burial mounds to children, followed by a physical educational activity which allows them to create similar figures. During this workshop, children will have the opportunity to learn about the different functions and uses of the stamp seals during the deeply-rooted civilization of Dilmun Period in Bahrain.
Worth to mention that Bahra in Authority for Culture & Antiquities organizes, in the heart of Bab Al-Bahrain, specifically in its front outdoor space(the market area), a weekly activity every Thursday at 5:00 pm, including various cultural activities from music to handicrafts, heritage, arts and food. This event is open to the public; all are invited to participate and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
