“ Sound of Korea” Fantastic Concert Performance
The 14th Edition of the Spring of Culture Festival events 2019 could not miss the amazing Fantastic Sounds of Korea”, a concert held at the Cultural Hall on 2 April 2019, and attended by H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities, H.E Hyunmo Koo, Ambassador of Korean Republic to Bahrain, many diplomats, intellectuals, lovers of arts and music in Bahrain.
“Sound of Korea” is a musical concert by all-female fusion Korean classical music group QUEEN mesmerized and surprised the public when they performed an opening and closing tribute to the Bahraini song’ Fi Aali”, before moving to classical folk Korean pieces and modern pop covers accompanied by traditional costumes and choreography.
The audience enjoyed also QUEEN painting “a splendid audio-visual feast with its blend of the traditional and contemporary, using Korean traditional instruments such as the Gayageum, Daegeum, and Janggu along with the electronic violin, using Korean traditional instrument to perform classical folk Korean pieces and modern pop covers.
Worth to mention that the 14th Edition of the Spring of Culture Festival will run until the end of April 2019.
