Large Audience Attended “A Tribute to Great Italian Opera” Music Concert, Music opera concert at the Bahrain National Museum
Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities (BACA), in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, organized on Monday, 2nd December 2019, “A Tribute to Great Italian Opera” music opera concert at the Bahrain National Museum. Large audience and lovers of Italian opera music attended the gorgeous evening, in the presence of H.E Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Director-General of Culture and Arts at the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities, H.E. Domenico Bellato, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The mesmerizing Italian opera music evening was presented by the internationally renowned music Academy “Accademia Chigiana”, inviting five great figures of Italian opera between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries are adequately represented: Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi, Puccini, plus Leoncavallo, a historical exponent of Italy’s Verismo.
Bringing together tunes of melancholy, elegant comedy and dramatic hues, the evening will served as a tribute to the frivolous world of operetta. This event is part of Bahrain Culture Authority’s National Day Celebrations rich program throughout December.
