Inauguration of Mariam Fakhro’s Exhibition” Daylight” Art Center
In line with its general strategy aimed at creating a thriving local culture scene, Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities will inaugurate on Tuesday, 5 February, at the Art Centre at 7:00pm, artist Mariam Fakhro’s Exhibition” Daylight”. Visitors are welcome to discover the beauty of creative paintings starting from 6 February until 20 February every day from 8:00am- 8:00pm. Free admission
The exhibition presents a series of artworks and paintings inspired by local natural elements and patterns with all their components. With her inspiring exceptional achievements, choosing to paint her subjects in a way that expressed her own mature artistic experience, Mariam Fakhro makes the paintings live and breathe her trans- and multicultural fascination and identity.
Artist Mariam Fakhro has, undoubtedly, contributed, through her participation in many local and international exhibitions to best introduce the charming history of Bahrain and its ancient civilization, via the visual arts that reflect this deeply-rooted and rich civilization.
