Bahrain Summer Festival Coming Soon, Bahrain Culture Authority’s preparations to Kick off end of June

In less than two weeks, the audience and the public in Bahrain will certainly enjoy their annual amazing Bahrain Summer Festival events, in its 11th edition. Bahrain Culture Authority continues its efforts to launch this year’s edition on time, that is on 27 June 2019, at Nakhool Tent, which is located this year near Salman Bin Ahmad Al Fatih Fort, Riffa.

Your  favorite adventurous duo, Nakhool and Nakhoola,  coming under the Authority’s year-long theme “Year of Celebrations 2019”, dedicated to celebrate Bahrain’s historical achievements,  await you with their transformed appearances in the month-long exciting program this summer. Bahrain Summer Festival will  present its usual   range of artistic activities and creative workshops for family and children in Nakhool Tent near  for a whole month, with artistic shows from the four corners of the earth at Cultural Hall, creating a pioneering experiences in music, art and theaters.  

Nakhool Riffa Fort events tent will present, in cooperation with  Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities and the festival partners, a series of cultural programs for all ages and tastes, including creative workshops in plastic arts, music, theater and science, sports activities and entertainment games, as well as live shows on Nakhool stage.

Worth to mention that Nakhool Tent has always been on the move since its inception in 2009 throughout the Kingdom’s governorates, reflecting the keenness of Bahrain Culture Authority’s to get closer to the public audiences and enhance cultural awareness. The Nakhool Tent held a variety of children’s activities and workshops hosted by Hilat Abdul Saleh Village in 2009 and Malkiya Village in 2010 before moving to Arad, Muharraq in 2011. In 2012, Manama city hosted Nakhool tent celebrating Manama as the Capital of Arab Culture, and it stayed there also in 2013, when Manama was nominated as the Capital of Arab Tourism and in 2014, which was  celebrated for Manama as the Capital of Asian Tourism. In 2015, Nakhool Tent was held near Sitra Mall before coming back to Manama city in 2016 near Bahraini National Museum, while in 2017 the tent was placed near Qala’at al Bahrain. In 2018, Nakhool tent was held in the special events Village at Arad Fort in Muharraq, celebrated last year as the Capital of Islamic Culture 2018.
