The Exhibition of  Bahraini artist Marwa Rashid Al Khalifa  ‘Noor’ is a journey allows you to think deeply about the light that embodies us through the artist’s collection, who used her signature contemporary style juxtaposed with different techniques to create her spectacular artworks. She is predominantly recognized for her paintings, drawings, and most recently her drawings and light installations. Four main objects or structures characterize her work; circular shapes are synonyms of “ the first years of innocence, purity and enlightenment highest values”, while human traits and lines represent “ universal flexibility characteristics”. As to corners, they signify “ moving to higher degree of maturity and harmony”.   In order to explore and push new artistic boundaries in these artworks combined, artist Marwa Al Khalifa  incorporates the use of different materials in her pieces, her work broaching a "spiritual aura and interior light surrounding us" that invites the viewer to meditate and embark on a personal journey.

As to the “ Rays of Light” in a triangular shape, they depict “the space separating light from darkness, that is the ‘ long way to go in order to reach the ultimate shining light”. The final and last  technique or element, “ departure”; the last stop of the journey clearly describes the trio of this journey of the light leaving the body; Mind, Body and Spirit”.
Worth to mention that Bahraini artist Marwa Rashid Al Khalifa   won the 2nd award of  the 44th Annual Fine Arts Exhibition, which consist of a solo exhibition organized by Bahrain's Authority for Culture & Antiquities.
