Spring of Culture Events:  Japan Film Festival Kicks Off, Bahrain National Museum

 

The 14th Edition of the Spring of Culture Festival has a multitude programming gorgeous events to be followed and attended, such as the amazing “Japan Film Festival”. Indeed, the  Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in cooperation with Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, will hold the Japan Film Festival 2019, supported by the Japan Foundation. Japanese movies’ screening will kick off tomorrow, 6 March, at 7:00 pm at Bahrain National Museum with the first film titled “ Sing My Life”.

The festival features a series of films to be screened during the whole month of March every Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Bahrain National Museum. The second movie is planned on 13 March, titled  “Vancouver Asahi”, while on  20 March the movie “A Living Promise” will be screened. The final curtain will fall on Japanese Film Festival on 27 March 2019, the last Wednesday of the month, with “A Sparkle of Life” movie.

The 2019 Spring of Culture’s Gold Sponsors include GFH Financial Group, National Bank of Bahrain,  Tamkeen and Batelco, while Silver Sponsors include Alba, Bahrain Airport Company, Bahrain Duty Free, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, and Huawei, and supported by Gulf Air. Also, special thanks to the embassies of Italy, Japan, South Korea, France, Germany and Egypt who are taking part in the program.
