Needless to say that Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA)’ top priority remains its strategy to highlight the cultural, historical and urban heritage of Bahrain's landmarks. Therefore, Al- Jasra House restoration project is at the heart of this general plan. The importance of this historical venue, Located in Al Jasra village, surrounded by abundant greenery overlooking the water, stems from many facts, top of them being the birthplace and childhood happy day  of the Late Amir, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, May God Have Mercy on His Soul.
 
The project of reviving Al Jasra House gives importance to the Ruler's House, where many political, economic, social and cultural developments were made.

Marking the 20th anniversary of the death of Prince Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, May He rest in peace, H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammad Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Culture & Antiquities Authority, expressed her keenness to promote more of cultural infrastructure projects. H.E said “We are currently reviving a house that witnessed the birth of a ruler whose achievements remain immortal in the modern history of the Kingdom,” adding that “ Bahrain Culture Authority’s greatest importance focus is on historical landmarks and venues, scattered around all areas of Bahrain. Al-Jasra House revival and restoration is one in a series of projects that BACA is working day and night to implement throughout Bahrain, such as the recent projects shedding lights on Muharraq city cultural, urban and historical heritage during “ Muharraq, Capital of Islamic Culture” events last year, while BACA’s efforts are now focused on the rehabilitation of Old City of  Manama in order to register it on World Heritage List”, H.E added.   
 
The restoration of Al Jasra House brings life again to one of the most cherished tourist locations in the Kingdom of Bahrain, given its historical and architectural importance, attracting more visitors to enjoy this landmark beauty and hospitable atmosphere.
   
 In addition to this gorgeous traditional house, reflecting the historical architecture aspects, the project also includes Visitor Center, providing information about the biographical life of the Late Amir and his major achievements and policies, as well as history of architecture in Bahrain. It also encompasses a special clause relating to the importance of vegetation heritage and agrarian history, its local features and aspects, given the wonderful  sightseeing green spaces surrounding Al-Jsra House.
